We offer fire retardant fabrics in a range of qualities, colours and different types, there are many British Fire Standards that fabrics conform to however we mainly offer fabrics will normally conform to one or all of these standards BS5867, BS5852
BS5852 Source 0, 1, 5, - Cigarette and match test -
BS5852 Source 0, 1, 5, - Cigarette and match test - CRIB 5 A standard specified for fabrics to be used for curtains, drapes, stage curtains, night sheets and window blinds. The flame retardant treatment will protect and flame retard fabric to BS5852: 2006, Ignition Source 5, following the water-soaking procedure set out in Clauses 4.2 to 4.5 of BS5651:1978 when used in conjunction with a combustion modified High Resilience foam, and a schedule 3 flame retardant interlinear.
Cleaning
We recommend that when a fabric is used for upholstered furniture it should be professionally cleaned with suitable chemicals that will not compromise the fire retardant back coating
Fire Resistant Retardant Blackout Fabric
Our blackout fabrics are available in a range of qualities and finishes conforming to fire retardant standards, Blackout out fabrics are designed as the name states to block natural light or other sources of light that need to be kept out, i.e. Cinemas, auditoriums, Dark rooms etc., as well as keeping the light out the fabrics also conform to the Fire retardant standards, with the benefits of the fabric widths of 150cm available this makes the fabric very advantages for large drapes and curtains saving time and money
